About

An estate, a record, and the people behind it

What this site is for, who it is written for, and who is doing the work.

This site

What you are reading, and why it exists

Mas El Regalo is a historic rural estate above Ibi, in the interior of Alicante: around 1,500 m² of buildings and some 112,000 m² of pine woodland, almond terraces and old olive groves, first recorded in writing in 1886. This website is the estate’s own record of that place and of the work being prepared on it.

It exists for three reasons: to document the buildings and the land honestly, to set out the plan for restoring them as a small retreat, and to answer the questions people actually ask, about the property, the olive oil, the timeline and the investment case. Where a fact is not yet verified, we say so rather than filling the gap in.

Nothing here is a sales page for a finished hotel. The estate is under study, no works have started and no dates are being promised. When that changes, the change will appear on these pages first.

Anyone who wants the olive oil

Verdi, the estate’s own label: the groves, the press, and when the first harvest is expected.

Who builds it

Kept by the project team, not by an agency

This site is written and maintained by the project team behind Mas El Regalo: the people preparing the acquisition, the restoration and the retreat concept, working alongside architects, surveyors, local builders and the growers who know these groves.

That is why the pages read as they do. Figures are described as indicative because the survey is not finished. Historical claims stay within what the archive can carry, and the parts we cannot prove are marked as such. The photographs are, or will be, of the estate itself rather than borrowed scenery.

Names, roles and credentials of the professional team will be published here as they are confirmed, together with a direct telephone number and email address for the estate.

Until then, the contact form on this site reaches the project team directly.
